The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (MPFA) has approved a $309,000 grant for the City of Crosby to replace approximately 34 lead service lines in its drinking water system. The funding comes from the Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR) Program and will cover the full cost of the project.

Representative Ben Davis (R–Mission Twp.) announced the grant approval, emphasizing its importance for local residents. “This is great news for the people of Crosby,” said Rep. Davis. “Safe, clean drinking water is one of the most basic needs of every community. This investment ensures that families can trust the water coming out of their tap, and I am proud to support efforts like this that improve the health and safety of our communities.”

The LSLR Program receives funding from both federal capitalization grants provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state appropriations directed to the MPFA.
