Max Rymer, a Minnesota-based commentator, posted several tweets in late July 2025 focusing on state politics and personal observations.

On July 23, 2025, Rymer criticized Minnesota Democrats for their stance on fraud prevention. He wrote, "Democrats in Minnesota don't think fraud is a problem. In fact, they explicitly said so in the House. We have lost OVER A BILLION DOLLARS TO IT. Not one Democrat voted to implement an Inspector General in Minnesota."

Two days later, on July 24, 2025, Rymer commented on the interpretation of data trends by stating, "Man… imagine tweeting this and not considering when the dramatic spike happened on the chart."

In a lighter tone on July 25, 2025, Rymer shared a personal update about enjoying local weather: "Live look at me walking outside this beautiful Minnesota morning!"

Rymer's criticism regarding alleged losses to fraud follows ongoing debates in Minnesota over government oversight and accountability measures. The state's legislature has faced scrutiny regarding large-scale fraud cases in recent years and proposals for increased oversight roles such as an Inspector General have been subject to partisan disagreement.
