Minnesota Connections Academy issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
National Honor society members celebrated and volunteered at a Maplewood senior residence facility, making cards with the seniors in the assisted living and memory care facilities.
Seniors and honor society members worked together to create a variety of Valentine's Day cards and coloring uplifting coloring sheets for their families and other residents. Some honor society members gave out their cards to seniors in their rooms to bring some cheer!
