Hamline Church United Methodist issued the following announcement on Nov. 20. 

In our November series we’ve been reminded that God made us in God’s image. God the homemaker, God the prodigal party parent, God the reconciling savior made us in God’s image and said, “Do what I do. As best you can, whenever you can, do what I do.” And that is Hamline Church’s plan, always and everywhere. We don’t always manage it, but we’re always trying to take the grace we’ve received from God and put it into action. The character of the Good Samaritan is an excellent distillation of what the church is called to be. Join us this week as we give thanks for God’s grace in our lives and open ourselves to where and how we are called to put grace in action.
