Q2: Home prices in St. Paul increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in St. Paul rose by $22,500 while total sales decreased by 14.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 1,022 homes sold, with a median sale price of $285,000 - an 8.6 percent increase over the $262,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,200 homes sold in St. Paul in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,106, approximately 1.1 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
