April: Home prices in St. Paul increased

The median sale price of a home sold in April in St. Paul rose by $44,050 while total sales decreased by 32.4 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 265 homes sold, with a median sale price of $300,000 - a 17.2 percent increase over the $255,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 392 homes sold in St. Paul in April 2021.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,106, approximately 1 percent of the median home sale price for April.
