The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Tina Smith, Tina Smith for Minnesota, refunded $25 to Jeffrey Borneman on May 3, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

Tina Smith for Minnesota refunded $31,566 total since December 1, 2019.
