St. Paul home prices fall in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in St. Paul fell by $5,000 while total sales decreased by 11%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 290 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - a 2.3% decrease over the $215,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 326 homes sold in St. Paul in April 2018.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for 2019 was $3,106. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,772. This marks an increase of 12%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
