St. Paul home prices rise in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in St. Paul rose by $22,250 while total sales decreased by 2.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were 184 homes sold, with a median sale price of $208,000 - a 12% increase over the $185,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 188 homes sold in St. Paul in February 2018.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for 2019 was $3,106. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,772. This marks an increase of 12%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
