CITY OF SAINT PAUL: Commemorate Black History and Culture

Blackhistory

City of Saint Paul issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.

Commemorate Black History & Culture with music & art exhibitions, and local book readings featuring local Black authors, including: "Diesel Heart" by Melvin Carter, Jr., "Hope in the Struggle" by Dr. Josie R. Johnson, and "Towards An African Education" by Professor Mahmoud El-Kati.

Guests will have an opportunity to talk to the authors and get their purchased books autographed. Event is free to the public.

Presented in partnership with Ujamaa Place.

Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11 AM – 2 PM
