Later that day at 19:39 UTC, she referenced her background as an educator and expressed support for civic action: "As a former social studies teacher, it brings me great pride to join my fellow Minnesotans in exercising our constitutional right — and our civic duty — to fight back against the Trump Administration. At 22:56 UTC, McCollum continued this theme by stating: "It's a beautiful day to fight for democracy, exercise our freedoms, and demand that our nation's leaders honor their oath to support and defend the Constitution. No Kings! https://t.co/BlxWN3dzWf".
