Rep. Jeff Dotseth has been named a recipient of the 2025 Housing Leadership Award. Dotseth is among 24 legislators who were recognized for their efforts in advancing legislation aimed at increasing housing supply, promoting zoning reform, and supporting local initiatives to address Minnesota’s housing shortage.

“Minnesota families are being priced out of the dream of homeownership,” said Dotseth. “I’m proud to support reforms that remove barriers and make it easier to build and own a home. We need to keep working to ensure every Minnesotan has a fair shot at owning a home in the community they love.”

The Housing Leadership Award is presented each year to lawmakers who show commitment to enacting practical policies that encourage pro-housing measures during the legislative session.
