These tweets address domestic policy concerns and international conflicts, reflecting her legislative priorities and stance on foreign affairs.

On March 20, 2025, Rep. McCollum expressed gratitude to Episcopal Homes in Saint Paul for hosting a town hall meeting. She emphasized the importance of protecting senior citizens' benefits by stating that "Minnesota’s seniors expect Congress to protect, not cut Medicaid, Medicare, or Social Security." She affirmed her commitment to defending these essential programs.

Later that day, she addressed international relations by criticizing former President Trump's approach towards the Israel-Hamas conflict. In her tweet at 15:07:39 UTC, she urged for diplomacy: "President Trump needs to quit his bombastic rhetoric and work to return Israel and Hamas to the negotiating table."

In another post made at the same time, Rep. McCollum condemned Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's actions regarding military activities in Gaza: "Prime Minister Netanyahu’s unilateral decision to end the ceasefire and resume Israeli military activity in Gaza is outrageous." She highlighted concerns over civilian casualties resulting from these actions.
