Minnesota Department Of Corrections issued the following announcement on Mar. 22.
On March 17, DOC Field Services’ Bemidji 2 District held a district staff meeting. During the meeting, District Supervisor Cody Underdahl presented the Roseau and Thief River Falls offices with memorial benches commemorating District Supervisor Marc Bloomquist. Marc was the District Supervisor for the Bemidji 2 District and passed away unexpectedly in December 2021.
Marc had a way to build relationships and would often say “Bring it In.” This bench serves as a reminder of Marc, as well as we are all a family at the DOC. We take in a lot and are pressed every day with challenges. It is important that we all “Bring it In” with one another and remember that a work family helps each other heal and grow.
