Minnesota Connections Academy issued the following announcement on Feb. 21. 

Kennedy is in the 1st grade at Minnesota Connections Academy. His mother, Lacey, said the transition to the virtual classroom was very smooth, as all the training and onboarding exercises were very helpful.

Kennedy is a happy and funny kid. He loves learning. "He has immensely enjoyed the field trips offered this year so far," Lacey said. "Kennedy has really loved the LiveLessons offered through Minnesota Connections Academy and looks forward to seeing his teacher and classmates every day."

She added that they also appreciate Minnesota Connections Academy's commitment to diversity.

Kennedy was nominated by his teacher, Ms. Mohler, as one of Minnesota Connections Academy's Students of the Month.  "Kennedy is such a great student to have in class. He comes to LiveLesson daily with a smile on his face and so excited to learn," Ms. Mohler said. "He works very hard on his lessons and participates in LiveLesson. He is always kind and respectful to his classmates."
