County Of Stearns recently issued the following announcement.
At the direction of the Governor, Minnesota flies its flags at half-staff at all state buildings following the death of Minnesota first responders fallen in the line of duty. Our flags are lowered today to honor the life of Blomkest firefighter Ryan Leif Erickson.
He was on storm spotter duty at home in Kandiyohi County May 12 when high winds blew an empty grain bin onto his car and killed him.
