The first half of 2021: Home prices in Maplewood increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Maplewood rose by $16,200 while total sales increased by 31.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 185 homes sold, with a median sale price of $290,000 - a 5.9% increase over the $273,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 141 homes sold in Maplewood in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Maplewood for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,286, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
