St. Paul home prices rose in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in St. Paul rose by $25,250 while total sales increased by 16.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 1,767 homes sold, with a median sale price of $252,000 - a 11.1% increase over the $226,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,522 homes sold in St. Paul in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,106, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
