St. Paul home prices rose in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in St. Paul rose by $29,213 while total sales increased by 29.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 1,069 homes sold, with a median sale price of $262,000 - a 12.5% increase over the $232,788 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 828 homes sold in St. Paul in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,106, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
