St. Paul home prices rose in 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in St. Paul rose by $10,500 while total sales decreased by 19.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were 2,952 homes sold, with a median sale price of $230,000 - a 4.8% increase over the $219,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 3,662 homes sold in St. Paul in 2019.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,106, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for 2020.
