St. Paul home prices rose in the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in St. Paul rose by $16,375 while total sales decreased by 6.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 682 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 7.5% increase over the $218,625 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 730 homes sold in St. Paul in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,106, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
