80 percent of applicants to the University of St Thomas were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of St Thomas, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Saint Paul enrolled 10,035 students in fall 2018, including 6,395 in undergraduate and 3,640 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of Minnesota, and 21 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (77 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (5 percent).

The school admitted 80 percent of the 7,163 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 31 percent enrolled.
