City of Saint Paul issued the following announcement on May 7.
Select Basketball And Tennis Courts Reopened
Select basketball and tennis courts are being reopened as part of the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Department’s Rec Engagement Crew (R.E.C) Pilot Program. The R.E.C. will be working in teams at the pilot program locations to educate and encourage park visitors to practice social distancing and other recommended public health directives. Executive Order 20-50
Earlier this week, Governor Tim Walz signed Executive Order 20-50, exempting federal, tribal, state, and local COVID-19 relief funds from being automatically intercepted by creditors and debt collectors. As many Minnesotans experience unemployment and food and housing insecurity due to COVID-19, Executive Order 20-50 allows Minnesotans to use COVID-19 assistance for their immediate needs, rather than having the funding automatically intercepted by creditors or debt collectors. Relief Grants For Small Businesses Near Allianz Field
Neighbors United Funding Collaborative (NUFC) is offering Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grants of $2,500 to small businesses/nonprofits within a half-mile of Allianz Field. Applications are due Monday, May 11th. Apply and learn more at https://midwayunited.org/grant-process/.

Saint Paul Parks and Recreation is partnering up with Minnesota Vikings fullback C.J. Ham to offer a home workout directly from his home to yours.
