NOKOMIS MONTESSORI NORTH CAMPUS: Saint Paul Bridge Fund

Fund

Nokomis Montessori North Campus issued the following announcement.

We hope you and your family are all well and staying safe. We are writing to let you know that there will be a change to our meal service for families starting the week of April 20.

This week (April 13-17) is the same schedule as last week, with buses delivering meal boxes on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, plus curbside pickup at select schools on Friday, April 17.

Starting Monday, April 20, we will no longer have bus stop deliveries. Instead, we will start weekly home meal delivery to SPPS families who are in need of food for their children. Meals are only for kids ages 18 and under, or those with a disability enrolled in a school program.

For families that qualify for free or reduced lunch:

You will automatically receive your first delivery and can confirm with the delivery driver if you would like to continue receiving meals through home delivery. You can also confirm online at spps.org/homedeliveryenglish. Students who are enrolled in a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program will also receive their first delivery automatically.

For families that do NOT qualify for free or reduced lunch:

You can register online at spps.org/homedeliveryenglish or wait to receive a call from Nutrition Services. When you receive a call, you can enroll over the phone at that time.

For families that have already been receiving home delivery:

You will continue to receive home delivery and do NOT need to register. If you are requesting changes to your delivery or want to update contact information, please email ns@spps.org.

There will also be weekly curbside pickup available at several sites for those that do not want home delivery and would prefer to pick up meals.

We expect these changes to increase access to meals for all families while maintaining the state’s stay-at-home and social distancing guidelines. We appreciate your patience and support as this new system is being rolled out.

Please continue to check spps.org/covidmeals for the most up-to-date information about meals, including pickup times and locations.
