City of Saint Paul issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Kao Kalia Yang, local author, will read her new picture book, "A Map Into the World." This lovely story about a young child helping her elderly neighbor find a bit of joy after the passing of his wife was inspired by people living in our East Saint Paul community.
The presentation will be followed by a Q & A and book signing. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
This event is funded by Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage funds.
