The University of St. Thomas swim and dive teams are set to compete in the 2026 Summit League Swim and Dive Championships, taking place from February 18-21 at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center in Iowa City, Iowa.
The event will begin with diving preliminary rounds at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by swimming relays. Morning sessions from Thursday through Saturday will start at 10:00 a.m.
Tickets for the championships are available for purchase online or via the Hometown Ticketing App. General admission seating is offered, with doors opening one hour before each session. All-session tickets cost $65 plus fees, while single-day passes are $17 plus fees. Children under two can attend for free, and a three-day pass (Thursday-Saturday) is available for $27 plus fees.
Fans who wish to watch remotely can stream the championships on the Summit League Network or through the MIDCO Sports Plus app. A Midco Sports All-In package provides access to several networks including Tommie football games for $29.99 per month. Another option gives access to Summit League women’s basketball games and the Summit League Network for $9.99 per month.
First-year diver Maya Kelly is highlighted as a key competitor entering her first Summit League Championship appearance. “Kelly, who won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Aquatics Championship, is the Tommies top diver entering the conference championship, with a season and career best score of 280.40 in a dual earlier this season. That score is an NCAA Zone Cut and the best for any St. Thomas diver this season.”
Several St. Thomas swimmers have recorded top-10 times in their events within the league ahead of the championship:
– Ellie Undem holds third place (tie) in the 50 Freestyle and tenth in the 100 Freestyle.
– Sophia Hayes ranks ninth in the 500 Freestyle and sixth in the 1650 Freestyle.
– Jordyn Davis has second-best time in 100 Backstroke, eighth in 200 Backstroke, and sixth in 100 Butterfly.
