On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Cretin Derham Hall High School standout Jake Quinn’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Houston Cougars.
The game took place at Schroeder Park. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Dell Diamond against Oklahoma Sooners.
